Finding the best juicers on the market with a little help from YouTube

Submitted by on December 23, 2013 – 4:09 am 3 Comments

I’ve been on the search lately to find the best juicers on the market to buy for my juicing journey.  Until now I’ve been trying out many of my weight loss juicing recipes in my Nutri Bullet NBR-12 12-Piece Hi-Speed Blender/Mixer System, but now I’m ready for the full juice experience. During my research I’ve read a lot of great sites like rebootwithjoe.com and http://www.primejuicers.com/. Both are great sites and gave me a lot of information to help start my search but I still has questions like

  • Which is the best masticating juicer or centrifugal juicer?
  • Can I juice greens in a centrifugal, is it really that bad?
  • How slow is a slow or cold press juicer  compared to the faster juicers?
  • Really how juice will the different juicers get me?

In search of some of the answers I started searching you  for juicer reviews, Breville juicers, Huron reviews and a couple of other really helpful terms. Here are some of the videos I found that really helped me and answered a bunch of my burning questions.

Is the masticating juicer or centrifugal juicer best? And can anyone get started juicing?

This one was really helpful because it’s clear these guys aren’t hard core juicers, so it help to see how easy or hard it was for them which let me know I could definitely do this. These guys are using these 2 juicers in their review Breville BJE510XL Juice Fountain Multi-Speed 900-Watt Juicer and Omega J8003 Nutrition Center Single-Gear Commercial Masticating Juicer, White

Do discount juicers really measure up?

In this video he compares a discount Big Boss 700 Juicer ($59) to the Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite ($285) and you get see if price really matters.

Is the slow juicer really slow and can it juice all kinds of vegetables?

These ladies are great they review and compare the Huron Slow Juicer and Breville Centrifugal Juicer. They juice a variety of fruits and vegetables, show you how to assemble the juicers, and bunch of other great details that will help you decide.

I really enjoyed all of the discountjuicer.com’s videos but this one helped the most with my juicer buying decision. Here he reviews 4 different juicers and styles including the Breville made famous by fat, sick, and nearly dead’s Joe Cross. Take a look at this comparison of Breville BJE510XL Juice Fountain, L’Equip XL Juicer, Omega J8004 best Masticating Juicer, and Omega VRT330HD Juicer.

These videos plus a few others really helped answer my questions, and got me ready to make my final juicing decisions. Although reading all about the best juicers on the market was helpful and helped me shape what my criteria was, it took really seeing the juicer to make the final decision. I hope some of them help you.

So are you on the juicer hunt, let me know what questions you have maybe I can answer them in a video with my new juicer ;)

  • Nice read with great info, I have only owned one juicer and it was a discount one. It worked for me, till my hubby called himself doing a good deal and cleaned the pantry out and throw away one the pieces. I have been saying that I was gonna buy a new one and I wanted a better one this time. So this is great info for me, thanks.
